How to set up Slack Channels

Slack is a new way to communicate with your team. It's faster, better organized, and more secure than email.

Navigate to the Slack workspace by visiting: https://app.slack.com.
Click on 'Add channels' located in the sidebar.
Select 'Create a new channel' from the dropdown menu.
Enter a unique name for your new channel in the provided field.
Decide on the privacy settings for your channel. Click 'Private — only specific people Can only be viewed or joined by invitation' if you want it to be private, or click 'Public — anyone in Acme Marketing' if you want it to be accessible to everyone in your organization.
Once you've set your preferences, click on 'Create' to proceed with creating the channel.
If you wish for everyone who is added to your main channel to also join this new one automatically, toggle the switch next to this option. Leave it off if you prefer manual additions.
Finally, click 'Save' to confirm and create your new Slack channel with all selected settings applied.
